British Homes Awards 2023

These prestigious awards celebrate excellence in British Homebuilding. We are delighted to announce that our House in Surrey project designed by Ström Architects has been shortlisted for an award in the Home Extension Of The Year category:

The house, an Arts and Crafts period property in Surrey, underwent a transformation to enhance its performance and coherence. Instead of demolishing, a contemporary single-storey extension was added, connecting to a refurbished main house. The design focused on integrating indoor and outdoor spaces through full-height glazing and a courtyard housing a gym, sauna, and office. The new extension complemented the original house's style with white brick and pre-cast concrete elements, creating a harmonious and respectful coexistence.

The winner will be announced on Thursday 5 October 2023 at Raffles London at the OWO.
